Annual Summer
AC Giveaway

This summer, Monarch Heating & Cooling is honoring local heroes with an AC system giveaway. We asked our community to nominate first responders who go above and beyond, and we received many great nominations. It was difficult to choose just one, but we’re excited to announce this year’s winner!
Brett G. and his wife Claire both served honorably in the U.S. Navy—Claire as a pilot and Brett as an elite rescue swimmer. After their service, they chose to make Montana their home, and we are grateful to have them in our community. Brett now serves as a firefighter and EMT with the Bozeman Fire Department, while Claire continues her service by working with Warriors in Quiet Waters, supporting post-9/11 veterans.

They’re a young, growing family with three wonderful children, and they were nominated by a fellow firefighter who had so many great things to say about them. Brett works 48-hour shifts, and they just welcomed a new baby five months ago. This is the kind of family that makes our valley special, and they are more than deserving of a new AC unit to keep their home cool and comfortable during these hot summer months.

Congratulations to Brett, Claire, and their family! Thank you for your service, and thank you for being such an incredible part of our community.

Our 2023 Summer AC Giveaway Winner!

Congratulations to Neal of Bozeman, MT on becoming our 2023 Summer AC Giveaway winner!

Below is Neal's nomination letter.

Monarch Heating and Cooling 2023 AC Giveaway Winner"We are so excited to nominate Mrs. Neal, a 1st grade teacher at Gallatin Gateway School. Mrs. K was my sons teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
Our son, Lucas, switched schools last year and she made him feel so safe and welcomed. She took the extra time and effort to evaluate his academic needs and bring him up to his grade level. This meant she stayed late every Tuesday to work with him individually! We are forever grateful that she took time away from her family to make sure our sons needs were met.
Last year was a very difficult year for our family. She was so understanding and supportive of not only Luke but our entire family. Meeting his emotional needs as well as his academic needs helped him to excel in both areas.
Mrs. K has two small children and she lost her father in law last year. She is a strong woman who continued to give so much of herself to her teaching and her students no matter what was going on in her personal life.
I have multiple immediate family members who are teachers. I have seen and recognize the personal sacrifices Mrs. K has made. They mean so much more as a parent because I know what it looks and feels like from the family side. She is an amazing educator who truly cares about her students and does not look at teaching as just her 8-4 job but rather teaching is a part of who she is as a person.
I know my sons story is not unique and that she has helped so many of the students at Gallatin Gateway. It is an honor to Nominate Mrs. Neal. She is an amazing woman and incredible teacher. Thank you for your time and consideration."

Our 2022 Summer AC Giveaway Winner!

Congratulations to Mike of Bozeman, MT on becoming our 2022 Summer AC Giveaway winner!

Below is Mike's nomination letter.

Joe and Mike"I am nominating Mike because he has been on the frontlines, daily, taking care of COVID patients as well other sick members of our community. Mike has been with Bozeman Health 18 years, if not longer. He is a committed and compassionate MRI TECH who supports ER, ICU, CCU, Medical, Surgical and outpatients. During COVID, BDH lost many of their MRI techs, which left Mike almost solo- covering MANY all-night call shifts, then going back in to work his regular 10-hour shift the following morning. Mike is well-known at BDH- as he takes pride in building relationships with every employee he comes in contact with. You can always count on him to greet you by name. Patients really love, Mike, too! He is VERY knowledgeable and patient. MRI tends to be an area where patients struggle with the long, loud exams and the tube which brings them anxiety. Mike talks the patients thru their exams with a kind and understanding voice. Many nurses and doctors have had recognition over the last several years for working in the trenches, but I think the folks in radiology deserve it, too! They are there round the clock, in the trenches, working short staffed…while also keeping patients safe from the radiation/large MRI magnets. Mike is the guy who is quick to compliment, but not likely to pat himself on the back when he’s done a great job- this would be the ultimate pat on the back."
