Monarch Heating and Cooling Presents: The Gift of Heat
Every year on Veterans Day, Monarch Heating and Cooling proudly honors the service and sacrifice of our local U.S. veterans. As a veteran-owned company, we understand the struggles veterans face upon returning home—from financial burdens to the physical and emotional challenges of readjusting to civilian life. That’s why we are committed to doing our part by giving the Gift of Heat to a deserving veteran.
Each year, we proudly select a veteran for our 'Gift of Heat' program, providing a new heating system to someone who’s served our country. This year, the choice was so difficult, we couldn’t pick just one! We’re honored to announce that two deserving veterans will receive the gift of warmth this winter.
Our first recipient is Marine Corps veteran Josh Spillers. Josh served overseas and was highly regarded in his unit. Now a psychology major at MSU, he balances his studies, work, and family life, all while supporting other veterans as part of the MSU Veteran Support Center. Josh has a reputation for giving back, always ready to lend a hand. His 30-year-old heating system is no longer reliable, causing stress on top of his already busy life. We’re honored to provide Josh and his family with a new furnace, ensuring they can face the winter without worry.
Our second recipient is Air Force veteran Arthur Aguero. Art served as a Code Reader for six years. He is always there to lend a hand, whether it’s volunteering at Sacks in Belgrade, walking a neighbor's dog, or encouraging friends to stay healthy. He’s also known for his big heart, often sharing his collection of Hot Wheels cars with local kids to brighten their day. Art’s old furnace is starting to fail, and we are honored we can help ensure he stays warm this winter.
Congratulations to Josh and Art! Thank you both for your service and your incredible contributions to our community.
Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations. It was a difficult decision, and we are so grateful for the many amazing veterans who were nominated. A special thank you to all of our incredible veterans for your service and contributions to our community.
